                       NepalNepal 0-4 Philippines Philippines

NEPAL'S disappointing run continues in the international level. Despite the FIFA ranking differences of 31 places, Nepal was abolished with four goals. Nepalese strikers couldn't reply a single goal in the match. It was evident that the fans who took part in the Nepalifootball.com poll last week demonstrated the confirmity.

As Nepalese players were only linked with clubs in English Conference Leagues and disappointment to get contract with ASEAN region club, Philippines had six European based players in the team.
Philip Younghusband scored twice while James Younghusband and substitute Hartmann Mathew added one each for the Philippines side. The match ended 4-0 and home side avenged the Nepalese win from 1982. It was similar to the England Germany match and this time again the German coach beat the English coach in Manila. The only close call from Nepalese player was brought by midfielder Nirajan Khadka but his 25 yard shot was parried away by Niel Ethridge who plays for West London Premiership club Fulham.
It is the disappointing start for the Nepal national team and if they will play like this in forthcoming matches, not only we lose our FIFA Ranking position but also confidence of being super power in SAFF region. Next, Nepal will play against powerhouse Thailand.
