Sri Lanka beats Nepal by 77 runs



Nepal lost to Sri Lanka by 77 runs in the SAARC U-25 T20 match played at the Fuvahmulah Ground in Maldives on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. The Lankans posted a massive 240 runs in 20 overs with the loss of only four wickets.
Needing two runs per ball, Nepal apparently slumped to 163 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
20-year-old Lankan left-hand all rounder Dhanushka Gunathillaka was declared the Man of The Match for his superb 105 in just 50 balls.
Nepal would be playing against India next on Nov 3.
